NoSQL Database of the Year

This is the fifth year for this poll. While it's traditionally been a very close poll it's unfortunately also one that has seen relatively little participation. If that doesn't change this year it's possible we'll remove it in future years.

Use Mongo at work regularly. Not too bad. Haven't really tried others though as Mongo works well for our use and I have no other uses for such a database.

Been getting into Neo4j this year. Traditional databases have poor traversal support, and our in-house custom solution was getting old. Porting our codebase over has been a work in progress, but so far it looks like just what we need.

Well, I think this is a reflection of LQ user base bias towards desktop/workstation functionality rather than a statement on nosql, per se. Lot's of these being used by large "internet properties".

I've only ever used MongoDB, however, so gets my vote by default. Not that it's necessarily the best, just that I have no basis for comparison.
